SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On Thurs, April 2, at 1455 hours officers from the Royalton Police Department stopped a Ford Fiesta for defective equipment on Route 14 in North Royalton. Mark A. Coburn, 29, of Newbury was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to have active arrest warrants out of Orange County for bad checks, and an extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire for violation of parole and receiving stolen property.

Coburn attempted to deflect the investigation by providing a false name. After the officers determined Coburn's identity, he was taken into custody and processed at Royalton PD on charges of Fugitive From Justice, and False Information to Officers. He was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held on $5,750.00 bail and faces extradition in New Hampshire. He is due to appear in Windsor Criminal Court 4/3/15 at 1pm.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Shortly after midnight in the early morning hours on Weds., March 18, Royalton police arrested Michael Divincenzo, 45, of Colchester, for suspicion of DUI after a verbal altercation at a local bar. Divincenzo had driven from the bar and was located in a parking lot off of Chelsea Street. Divincenzo failed standard field sobriety exercises and refused to submit to a breath test. He was cited to appear in Windsor Criminal Division on April 28, 2015 to answer to the charge of DUI.

On Mon., March 16, at approximately 1505 hours Royalton police stopped a vehicle on Chelsea Street for multiple traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was found to be driving with a criminally suspended license from prior DUI convictions. Norman Byam, 43, of Randolph Center, was arrested for Criminal DLS, 3rd offense, and processed at the Royalton PD. He was later released with a citation to appear in Windsor Criminal Division on April 28.

On Fri., March 13, at approximately 1600 hours officers from the Royalton police department received information that Michael E. Howe, 42, of South Royalton had violated his court ordered conditions of release on an Orange County docket.

Officers located Howe and arrested him for the misdemeanor charge. He was processed and released with a citation to appear in Orange County Court on March 25.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On Tues., March 10 at approx. 10am officers from the Royalton Police Department and troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton barracks went to a business on Waterman Road in an attempt to locate Branden J. Messier, 22, of South Royalton who had an outstanding warrant out of New York for Violation of Probation.
Messier was taken into custody without incident and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held without bail. He faces a felony charge in New York for Violation of Probation.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On Thurs., March 5, Royalton police stopped a vehicle for an inspection violation. The officer determined that the operator, Charles Crash Connelly, 34, of South Royalton, had an outstanding warrant out of Windsor County for Failure to Appear for an Unlawful Trespass charge. Connelly was taken into custody without incident, transported to Orange County Sheriff's Department.
